Intro

The Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport are excited to present the Director OnBoard education program, facilitated by Suzanne Ardagh AM.

The Director OnBoard education program will deliver practical and relevant foundational governance learning to help current or aspiring female board members in state sporting associations (SSA), state active recreation organisations (SARO) and peak bodies to elevate their board career.

This is a 4 part face-to-face series. You must be able to attend all session to participate in the program.

Session 1: Wednesday, 3 June 2026, 6:00 to 8:00 pm

Session 2: Wednesday, 10 June 2026, 6:00 to 8:00 pm

Session 3: Wednesday, 17 June 2026, 6:00 to 8:00 pm

Session 4: Wednesday, 24 June 2026, 6:00 to 8:00 pm

Meet the presenter — Suzanne Ardagh AM

Suzanne Ardagh AM has had a 30+ year career which commenced with diplomatic postings to Vienna, Mexico and later in Saigon, Vietnam. She completed a Bachelor of Arts at UWA and a post grad diploma before heading overseas to take up her Embassy roles.

Returning to Perth she was appointed as the WA Division Manager for the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a membership based organisation providing education and professional services for Directors from all sectors of the community.

Suzanne has served on boards for many years in a wide range of sectors. Currently she is the Chair of Stanley College, an international education provider, Deputy Chair of WA Ballet, and on the Board of the WA Cricket Foundation and the Sisters of St John of God Ministries advisory committee. She previously was on the Board of the Perth Festival, the HBF Council and the Board of West Coast Fever.

She was recently awarded an AM for her services to the Arts, Community and Business.
