Intro

Tourism WA Managing Director Anneke Brown will leave the agency on Thursday 2 July 2026.

Over the past 18 months, Ms Brown has used her skills in domestic stakeholder engagement, hospitality and hotel project development to further improve the State’s tourism performance as it continues to build after the significant impact of COVID-19.

Tourism WA remains firmly focused on growing WA as a highly attractive international tourism destination and continuing to elevate domestic tourism across the State.

In the interim, Natasha Monks will act as Managing Director of Tourism WA from Monday 6 July 2026.

Natasha is currently CEO of the Great Southern Development Commission and has a wealth of experience including the State’s Invest and Trade Commissioner in the Americas and a Trade and Investment Commissioner with Austrade.

A national recruitment process will commence soon to permanently fill the role.

Tourism WA remains focused on supporting the sector’s long-term success.

The Tourism WA Board and CITS thank Ms Brown for her contribution to the tourism sector since her commencement in late 2024.
