Intro
A collection of original artworks by young emerging artists from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds living in Western Australia, curated by Zac Cawdron, Chairperson of the Youth at Risk Network (auspiced by the Youth Affairs Council of WA). Artists expressed ‘what they see and wish for in the future in this country.
Created by young and emerging multicultural artists, the collection explores the theme Hopes in Australia and reflects a wide range of experiences, identities, and aspirations.
The WA artists and their families welcomed the opportunity to share their stories through art and have their work included in the collection.
The acquisition provides a lasting reminder of the diverse perspectives, talents and experiences that enrich our community.
All artworks are now proudly displayed through our offices and the Office of the Attorney General.
