This session will give you advice on how to:

  • improve volunteer recruitment and onboarding 
  • reduce reliance on the same core group of volunteers 
  • build a sustainable volunteer pipeline. 

Presenter 

Louise Giles, Manager Training and Development, Volunteering WA 

Louise is a training and development professional with more than 25 years' experience across the volunteer sector, not-for-profit organisations, local government and corporate environments in the United Kingdom and Western Australia. She has extensive experience supporting sporting and recreation clubs to address volunteer recruitment, retention, succession planning, governance and volunteer wellbeing.
